You could go to Trinity and write your own Portrait of the Artist as a Young Ma - well, you could write a variation on a theme. :-)

You might be a bit depressed with the selection of beer. I like Guinness, but there are other manufacturers of excellent ales. You have to go to the North to get any real selection. Fortunately, the pubs in the North no longer blow up the way they used to. If you aren't in the mood for a Guinness product, you might as well be in St Louis looking for a non-Anheuser-Busch beer. It is possible to succeed, but you will stir up a bit of bad blood and it will probably take a while to find something, unless you plan ahead.

I'll go to Trinity and write "How I got out of 300 000$ of med school debt by becoming a call girl".

Ironic no?

I like Guinness. But nothing beats Crannòg.

I'm more worried about the fact that I was raised Catholic and am now a Protestant! Where will I eat my lunch in the cafeteria??? :P

The conversion probably will not go over well with the Catholics, but the Irish are a lot more friendly than the terrorists would have you believe.

The way you write, they will want to claim you for their own.

There is an old joke. A Jewish man is walking through Belfast, he hears a gun cocked behind his head. A voice asks "Are you Catholic or are you Protestant?"

With relief he responds, "Neither, I'm a Jew."

The voice answers, "Then I'm the luckiest Arab in all of Ireland."

Rogue--I told your joke to my Irish housemate and he had a major LOL. Terrible. Good thing only three people read this blog or I'm sure I'd hear about it. ;)

BB-Is your cousin a Canadian? I'd be interested in hearing how (s)he finds it.
