It's really only 2.5 since 4th year is a (comparative) joke. I hope you're enjoying your summer of freedom!

Haha, which one is you?

I think I've eliminated the one with the hairy arm pits...

Congrats!

OMDG--Sadly 4th year in Ireland is not the promised land of medical school like it is in the States.

Year three is all med and surg, and year four is more surg, more med, psyche, peds, and obs/gyne.

After grad you get an intern year before going into residency which would be when you get to do elective-y type stuff. It's kinda a bummer.

Ninja--THANKS! Yeah, I love the pic!

NXY--Second from the left, I was not aware that jumping in the river was on the itinerary that day, hence why I am wearing my clothes in the water...

Ah well, you'll certainly be well trained when it's all said and done and you come to the US to practice. ;-)

Very cool picture, ABB. Yay! Love the description of your first days back at work, too.

OMDG--Ha! Indeed, well if I decide to head down the surg path then that will most likely be the case! :-)

Fordo--Cheers, thanks! :-) Yeah, it very accurately depicts how we felt that day. (And again when we found out that we all had passed!)
