Update from Deep Gatineau

Greetings and Happy New Year, bloggers and blog-readers!

I'm alive (and eating a lot of smoked meat and poutine) in deep Gatineau, Quebec. I'm banking on my low stress levels to counteract the arterial plaque buildup. A photo montage of the last three weeks will soon be up, but until then I am tweeting and mini-blogging. Back to Ireland in a few days.

Hope everyone had a wonderful New Years.

Smoked meat and poutine sounds fabulous. I really must visit Montreal someday.

It is a wonderful place--especially if you aren't on a diet and have a visa. :)

It has been so long since I looked in, I will have to read back as to how you got in Quebec.
In Wpg it was only fries and gravy, leave it to the Nordiques to add cheese.
I still get childish laughs from people when I say poutine. Ok sometimes it's me.

Hey, ABB, just wanted to drop a line and say I love the pics you took over Christmas.

Oh, and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to you on White Coat, Black Art. I'm so happy you turned me on to the show - definitely one of the best podcasts I listen to.
