Fighting the urge to faff. |
Tobie 'relaxes' while I study. Our evening 'quality time' together. :( |
Our 7am study group. The "Functionally Useless Nubbins". Yes we named it and yes the acronym is F.U.N. |
Ryan and I pretending to look studious. I was actually watching a youtube video I think. |
It is going to be a long, tough, year.

But but but.... in 9 months (or less) you'll be in the clinics! The bad part is almost over!
Hang in there.
Woah, 7am study group?! I don't even get up at 7 a lot of days, much less do productive things. Kudos to you!
OMDG--True. That is what I am clinging to! It's funny because a part of me wants this year over (scholastically) but the other part wants it to go slowly (personally). Tobie is moving back to Canada in June so it is our last year together here.
Makes it tough because I really feel like we hardly see each other even though we live together (I am up and gone before he gets up and often go to bed after him). Ugh.
I hear from the 3rd/4th years the 18wk GP rotation is referred to as 'The Promised Land'. Hahahha.
Grump--Tanks! :)
Liv--Necessity is the mother that birthed that study group time.
Our class is split into afternoon/morning groups and our study gang was divided this year. So the only time that works to get together is BEFORE am classes start (because the a.m people don't like coming back to campus in the evening).
There is a lot of coffee/tea/toast/jam involved. It is what gets us through.
And tell Ryan I love his shirt showing a neuron.
The only reason I'm up at 0700 is because I'm being paid. You have far more discipline than I'll ever have. I'm actually quite envious!
Now off I go for my 1300 nap :P
Wow... I can't imagine. Taking nursing while raising 3 kids STILL doesn't equate to what you're doing to your brain.
Best of luck and keep blogging. I like.
And your view is MUCH nicer than the one I get when I sit down with my books. Jealous? Why yes, yes I am.
I'm not exactly sure how your curriculum works ABB, but I swear second year *flew* by for me. I'm sure it will for you too (the class stuff anyway, hopefully not the time with Tobie:)!
Your study group looks so fun!
