KID...LOL - Smooth EBSCO... Reminds of that time....
KIDDING. I couldn't do that to you, (mostly because you have too much dirt on me).
If you want to catch a baby or two, you could go work at the remand centre. They have standing orders for the nurses to deliver the babies. Yeah, sometimes I feel like I would like to start a completely anonymous psyche blog called "my daily interactions with passive-aggressive-cluster B-megalomaniacs" and just write stories about some of the stuff health care workers say and do during a shift. Kinda a long title I guess! :)
:)Albinoblackbearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15222730484450544498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3138625163039637769.post-30613809935663514922009-05-24T04:42:04.592-06:002009-05-24T04:42:04.592-06:00I suppose BINY heard you all the way down in NYC a...I suppose BINY heard you all the way down in NYC and is still trying to control his laughter long enough to respond. I have a long list of super awkward public moments due to my inability to think and speak at the same time.

True, I am looking forward to those chances in med school--I just think it'd be nice to have some hands-on time before I am in the hot seat. I have done 2 shifts in the ICU here but my patients have been really stable and the only thing I've had to run other than saline was amiodarone. So not super stressful.

I agree, ICU nurses (especially the ones that become ER nurses later) are awesome. They are usually super smart and chill during codes...plus you can get them to interpret any lab results. :)Albinoblackbearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15222730484450544498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3138625163039637769.post-3826403876191618222009-05-23T21:27:49.378-06:002009-05-23T21:27:49.378-06:00Haha. I know what you mean about maternity and ICU though....but there are chances when you are in med school.
ICU nurses are freaking awesome IMHO, I've learned so much from them, so it certainly is something to look forward to even if you don't get time in before setting down to med school.Dragonflyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12759938692575603663noreply@blogger.com
